Do-Doc — AI LaTeX editor

A web editor that turns plain writing into typeset LaTeX, with an agent that edits the project, live collaboration where each writer sees the other's cursor, and PDF preview. Built with one other developer.

We started on LangChain and left it. The architecture we wanted was about where work happens — tools running out of process behind endpoints, retrieval in its own service, compilation triggered only by the user — and the framework kept getting in the way of expressing that. We wrote the agent loop in plain Python instead, on no framework.

• Refactored a RAG engine into a multi-tenant RAG-as-a-Service architecture using ChromaDB, FAISS and LangChain.
